The Maserati mindset

Interesting question… do you have a Maserati mindset or is it more like a smog emitting 1970’s clunker?

Mindset is important in the scheme of living the life you envision. The trouble is many want the Maserati mindset and many find themselves stuck with that 1970’s clunker mindset. You could say it is like living in a prison of our own making inside our minds. We must break out of this prison in order to live with a Maserati mindset. We must overcome the bad programming installed by our parents, teachers, and elders who acted to slam the door shut on realizing a Maserati mindset.

I was inspired to write this based upon an article I read in the Beverly Hills Courier just the other day. Chad Rogers is a 33 year old Realtor who sells “dream homes and mansions” in the Beverly Hills real estate market. I was struck by his overwhelming Maserati mindset that allows him such success. He has been selling for 13 years.

Imagine, you are 20 years old. You are still a babe and possibly wet behind the ears. How do you attain this Maserati mindset so that you can stand in front of millionaires and celebrities and ask for their real estate business? Seems like you would need excellent confidence, unwavering belief in yourself, and the right mindset to gain the trust you need to work with this circle of influential clientele.

Get the a Maserati mindset, like Chad Rogers, my shifting your inner thought. You gotta believe you are worthy of fame, success, happiness, or whatever you tag to create your Maserati mindset. It all revolves are an unwavering belief. If you don’t truly believe in yourself you will wind up with a facade that seems like a Maserati mindset and inside is really that 1970’s clunker. The inside will always shape the exterior of your self and keep you aligned to who you really are. There is no escape with effort and a shifting thought pattern.

Begin your shift with belief statements that you read, visualize, and internalize several times a day.  Some call these affirmations. I like to refer to them as your daily mindset vitamins.  Think about what it will take to acquire and live with a Maserati mindset and write it down on a 3 x 5 index card. Slip that card into your purse, wallet, or pocket and read it over and over throughout your day. This is how you begin to shift away from clunker to Maserati.
