Our world is changing at a rapid pace. Technology has made that possible. Technology has enlightened the world we live and play within. As leaders it is your calling to change along with our world. It is your calling to think differently, act differently, and risk differently.
If you are one of the many who choose to earn money online, you too must engage with your prospects differently. No longer is it kosher to phone call, door knock, or snail mail your way to success. Those methods are dead.
Leaders in the online money making game are always looking for new and innovative ways to capture prospects and convert them into customers. Lead by using technology. Here are several things you can do that will set you apart from old school marketing methods.
- Build a blog that sells nothing, rather offers free (valuable) information.
- Craft tweets that are real and not driven by a robot. Put some heart and soul into your 160 characters.
- Read and post great content on other blogs that match your demographic or target market.
- Send thank you notes (hand written) every week to valuable past customers or clients.
- Create a brand through colors, words, and messaging.
- Use Facebook technology to create a tribe of follower to your cause, product, or service.
- Create apps that drive visitors to your message, blog, capture page, or product page.
- Keep at it. Repetition is the mother of skill and success.
- Share value through the offer, content, and support of your product or service.
Sometimes what you do will work and sometimes it will not. This is why you should think about your product or service in depth. Who will you offer it to? What will be the price point? If you were the customer, why would you or wouldn’t you buy your own product or service?
Do more than one thing. You need a multi-pronged approach to marketing and advertising. Keep what works and abandon or change what doesn’t work. Speed matters in today’s online money making world.
Interesting question… do you have a Maserati mindset or is it more like a smog emitting 1970’s clunker?
